This is the kind of thing I was wondering about when I started a different thread in the In-state Rivals section by mistake.
Good story.
I found it interesting that he's considered one of the most important coaches because he spends so much time around the players. I believe it took Coach Rhoads a while to get this position filled. Looks like he wanted the "right" guy.
I'm amazed how much the UofI gets paid.
He is, but he's a senior academically. A little bit misleading. I suppose he could pull a Schmeling, graduate on time and not come back for his redshirt senior year.Quote:
