Freshmen and Redshirt Freshman Secondary
How much of an impact do you think the redshirt freshmen and incoming freshman will make in the secondary this year? with the likes of Linder, Watsen, Washington, Broomfield etc...

Re: Freshmen and Redshirt Freshman Secondary
Probably not much at corner since we already have LJ, Banks, Benton, Bell, and McDowell

Re: Freshmen and Redshirt Freshman Secondary
If Bell switches to safety, I'm excited to see Linder on the field.
H.U.C.A.C-- We're here to ____ ____ up! -

If Ash can get this group to play in space and be opportunistic, it should be a solid nucleus.
A Bell looks like he has focused on the S&C from all the spring videos I've seen.
Linder tracked down Bo Williams on a long run, so that showed his speed.

It will allow us to move one more step to defensive domination. We already had speed to burn and big-time strength in the backfield, this will just solidify that. Teams will be afraid to throw on us. -

Re: Freshmen and Redshirt Freshman Secondary
David Sims is probably the newcomer that's expected to have a big impact. Smith/Sims at S and LJ, TB and DM are your three corners in a nickel set.

Re: Freshmen and Redshirt Freshman Secondary
Hopefully in 2-3 years we can put a solid D back out on the field. Its going to be a while yet. We need a lot of newcomers at all positions. DE, DT, LB, DB. We have very few guys that would start for other schools.

Re: Freshmen and Redshirt Freshman Secondary
I hope we don't need any of the true freshmen....would love for them all to redshirt. I wouldn't be surprised to see Linder get a little spot duty here and there.

Originally Posted by swarthmoreCY KB and LJ are the starting cb's, McDowell or Benton as the Nickel I keep forgetting Kennard. You're correct on that.
