ive never liked tim tebow or really been impressed with him so i think there are a lot of quarterbacks better than him. And i am talking about arnaud and griffin i think arnaud is the better qb. And in your stats that you brought up arnaud is better in the passing catagory which i was arguing from the beggining.

Griffin is better than Arnaud... right now at least... and saying that you're not impressed with a 275 pound QB with a major arm and who runs a 4.5... you're drunk. He has a heisman and two national championships to vouch for him... you should be impressed. He'll go down as one of the greatest college QBs ever...

Im sorry but to put Tiller on the list any higher then missouri, k-states, or TT's quarterback is not right, he has yet to play a big 12 game much like those three teams qb's they have yet to play a game.

I'm one of the bigger Arnaud homers on this board, and I'm not buying this. I went to Waco. I watched Griffin play in person. I know our defense sucks, but the guy is unreal. Their 1st TD was a circus play where Griffin just chucked the ball into the endzone as Kurtis Taylor was pulling him to the ground. W/any other QB, that would be a pick. Instead, their WR made a diving, 1 foot in, catch in the back of the end zone. Once a play like that makes it, you know it's gonna be a long night...

As usual many of you guys confuse athletic ability with the ability to play the position. Griffin has incredible athetic ability and he will shine when he has the ability to run or the play is broken.

I noticed you skipped the comment about his receivers running after the catch. I watched Griffin on TV several times. His pass plays were primarily zero routes that receivers ran after the catch. His receivers were about 10 times better than Arnaud's last year and they ran very well after the catch.

Griffin is a great athlete and runner. It doesn't make him a great quarterback.

When other teams shut down the short pass plays he looked lost. Arnaud had fewer weapons around him and there is not doubt about that.

Sorry, but I'll keep Arnaud and I'll add this. I think Arnaud has a great shot of being a pro someday. Griffin does too, but it won't be at quarterback.

Tebow gained 35 lbs. and shaved .2 off his forty time this offseason?
(That is assuming that he still runs a 4.69 forty after gaining 20 lbs.)

In all seriousness, I can't really rip on Tebow though. He is an absolute warrior that gives his team everything he has. No matter if I'm a fan of Tebow (which I'm not) I would take him at QB on any COLLEGE team.

True, but the flip side is with Griffin is he's inconsistent. He'll throw 40-some percent then 80-some percent. So there might be some room for argument.

Remember Griffin was a freshman, anyone remember what meyers games were like? Exactly like your talkin inconsistent

I'll take Arnaud over Griffin. Arnaud has proven he can throw and be consistant granted if the recievers will catch the ball. Griffin is all over the radar, sure he can make plays out of anything, but his throwing ability isn't to the same level of Arnaud's. Plus Arnaud can scramble if needed.

Arnaud hasn't proven anything yet. I love Arnaud but he has started the same # of games as Griffin

Griffin is Michael Vick/ VY type of runner and he only threw 3 picks last year. AA and Griffin had the same completiton percentage. Griffin has the bigger arm too.

Iowa State fans are the only ones who would take AA over Griffin.
