Sounds like he needs to take the summer off. Although, I don't really see him playing this season anyway. Never know, though.

I think he has the talent to contribute on special teams as a Freshman. That said...if he has a nagging hammy, redshirt the kid and let him fully recover.

Exactly. I think it was a no brainer to redshirt him even before this injury.
