That Nebraska-ISU game video was sure fun to watch! Brought back some awesome memories. We sure had some great players on that team. Seneca of course, but Matt Word was all over the field, Leaders lived in the opponents backfield, Brandon Brown sure was one thick LB, and of course Hobbs was unbelievable. I saw Forrest in on a ton of plays as well.

I hope we can return to those days of ISU football soon! They sure were fun.

Those had to be some of our worst uniforms EVER though IMO. We couldn't decide if our school colors were red and gold or red and blue. Our jerseys were red and gold only.... and our helmets were red and blue only. There was no yellow on our helmets whatsoever. U-G-L-Y!! But winning cures everything.

My favorite part of the Coach Rhoads video was the end. Listening to him talk about coming to Cyclone events growing up was awesome. Basically, he is one of us. Paul Rhoads is a Cyclone Fanatic. He stayed focused on the goal and now is doing the job we all dream about. He is a local boy "success story." He grew up down the road, and now, captians the flag ship of Cyclone athletics. I hope he is Gary Thompson, and Fred Hoiberg, and the rest of the homegrown Cyclone success stories all rapped up into one. Good luck Coach...I hope you retire from ISU and kick a lot of butt along the way!

Of all the things I won't miss about Chizik, I count his plain gray sweatshirts on gameday among them. In all the pagentry of the victory of Iowa in 2007, there he is in a shirt that looks more like pajamas.

However, I will give him props for beating Iowa!
