To be fair, we don't play OU (Bradford) or UT (McCoy) this year.

I think that there are honestly 5 wins in that season and a 6th toss up

If ISU beat Iowa the records will be ISU 7-5 Iowa 8-4
If Iowa wins ISU 6-6 Iowa 9-3

Also cant the Register use the new logo on their website. Its a joke show over there.

I'm not even sure that stanzi is an 'above-average' quarterback.....

Unless Stanzi improved greatly over the winter/spring he is not way above average.

What do you guys think about the Oklahoma State game?

On paper this screams blowout, but maybe this could be CPR's signature win?

The game is in Ames, on November 7th. Maybe it will be cold that day/night and the Cowboys will be priming for a letdown...

I know these guys are good, really good. But I think if Iowa State comes in with a decent record and playing well....ok whoa I will put down the kool aid.

He's not. He has shown flashes that he can be pretty good. But at other points last season, he showed that he can be pretty...well you know what I mean.

Remind me, didn't Stanzi get pulled during the ISU game last year? And wasn't that game in Iowa City against a horrible Cyclone pass defense?

Yeah, the guy is way above average.

ISU somehow manages 7-5. I agree that OSU could be the signature win being in Ames in November.

Chill out about Stanzi. Peterson thinks he's above average only because he's only comparing him to Jake Christensen who was terrible. Of the quarterbacks we face this year, Stanzi is not one to fear. Eric Sanders from UNI was far better.

We play against at least 4 better QBs than Stanzi in Griffin, Reesing, Robinson, and Jerrod Johnson from A&M. Right now Stanzi is the 5th best QB we play (I'll give him the nod over CU). Mizzou's guy could easily be better by the end of the year, but he hasn't proven anything yet.

I voted for Baylor to win against you in October.

So, I had us beating the four nonconference teams, KSU, and CU. None of which is too unreasonable.

I hate to do this... 4-8
