Won't happen. The NCAA feels like it needs the state of Alabama to be at full strength. Putting Auburn and Alabama on probation is unlikely.
Wasn't the Crimson Tide on probation just this decade? This for a program claiming at least a share of 12 national titles? I think the NCAA feels they can put Auburn on probation if they deserve it.
he had favorites as in he tried to get his guys in and play them as fast as he could and didn't necessarily play the best people or the most deserving people.
That is probably true. Then again just another example of how to be a less then average head coach. He is a wallstreet CEO. The guy who packages himself as a winner when all he is deep down inside is a total loser. That story he told about the conversation he had with his wife when Auburn offered him the job is all that needs to be said. His wife said that they needed to sit down at home and pray about it and his response was that she could pray and that he would start packing. In a nutshell that was his 2 years in Ames. He took the ISU job without ever stepping foot in Ames, he talked a good game, yet somehow he leaves everyone with the impression that he was looking to get out the second he came to town. Mission accomplished and thankfully so. I can't wait to watch Auburn play this year. It should be a glorious comedy. I expect 3-9 at best. What do you think the Auburn fans will feel like about their new coach when they get blasted at home by Ball State? It will be fun.
