Right. Sorry, not buying it. You came out attacking ISU's schedule. Why? Just because one Cyclone fan had said they would rather have another school's schedule than have Kent State on the road? Sorry, I just can't accept that would draw an Iowa fan such as yourself into the discussion. Now, the earlier post that mentioned that the writer must not have thought much of Iowa........I could see where that might draw you out, and thus you attack ISU's schedule. Why attack ISU's schedule? Most fans know it is weak, although for a 2 and 10 team it looks tough enough. After ISU's experience with teams like Toledo, UNLV, UNI and others over the last few years, most any schedule looks tough. Just not sure why you had to jump into the thread, except for the fact that the writer had mentioned Iowa in the blog, and one Cyclone fan had mentioned Iowa in their post.

I made a similar post ripping Kent State in another thread just moments before this one. This thread popped up and it was right on topic so I posted. So good try, but get a few more facts next time. Of course, I'm sure you'll still believe you're right. So be it.

Except that nobody said a peep about iowa til this joker jumped in. All that was said was by Lebron that ISU has a chance to go 4-0 after being 2-10 last season. Which is nothing more than the truth.

Nope. I'm amazed at the amount of bitterness coming from you guys, but that's a different topic.

I said Kent State sucks. They do. I'd chalk all the angry responses up to venting, but there's more to it. Kent State has sucked the last two years. It's obvious to everyone. But you won't find many Clone fans in this thread agreeing with that simple point. Iowa's schedule always has some junk teams too. That's college football, but Clone fans are fighting tooth and nail to get away from the point that 7 wins in two years by a MAC team indicates a bad team (even if they play ISU tough).

What I do see is a hawk troll getting his jollies off whilst making himself out to be an arse.

My suggestion is the mods shut this one down - the OP can try again and perhaps we can get through it without such trollish behavior (doubtful)

No. I've "told it like it is". I came to insult Kent State and by proxy anyone that thinks Kent State is a decent team. Since none of you have believe Kent State is decent (even after the loss at the beginning of Chiz's tenure

) I don't see what the uproar is about.

I cheer against ISU football once a year. I prefer watching ISU basketball. I've got nothing against ISU. Granted, the people on this site are trying to change that opinion, but I know too many good Clone fans to let you fellas tarnish my opinion of the institution.

Why the hell would you even come to an Iowa State fan site to insult Kent St? That might be the most ridiculous assertion I have ever heard in my life - going to a rival's fan site to insult a team that they play later that year. That makes about as much sense as Iowa fans thinking they're going to win the national championship every single year...

No. Army and NDS 'sucking' is relevant to the point that ISU's 11th ranking makes sense coming from this writer. He obviously doesn't think Iowa will be that good and since the other three teams are weak opponents, you got placed 11th.

It should be shut down. I got quickly coerced into being a smart-***, but the level of vitriol and personal attacks coming from the Clones in this thread probably should lead to its demise.
