ESPN blog ranks ISU's non-con 11th toughest in B12

It's not a rivalry post. Kent State is not a good team. Clone fans thought KSU was good coming of a 6-6 season. Kent State has been terrible ever since. ISU has been bad too so many Clone fans think that game, even on the road, is respectable. It's not.

Most teams have 1 good opponent. ISU does. Kent State is the problem. Clone fans think that's a real game. Outsiders do not.

Iowa doesn't suck based on recent results. That's a terrible argument. Iowa State does though.

You don't. That's already been pointed out. I often refer to UNI conference basketball as the MVC too if you need something else to talk about.

As usual, we didn't bring Iowa into the conversation, an ISU fan did, and...as usual, we'll take the blame.

All I wanted to do was say that Kent State sucks and this matchup is the reason Clone fans think their 11th place ranking is so terrible, when it's not. Your only tough game is a rivalry game at home. The other three are against bad teams. That's an easy schedule.

So 7th and 11th aren't that far apart. Why get bent out of shape about it?

KU has the toughest 3 South schools on their schedule this season, so that kind of plays into it as well. When KU gets the easy 3 schools (the ones ISU is playing this year), they'll be adding Georgia Tech on the schedule.

Also, KU was rewarded greatly for playing a powder-puff schedule just 2 season ago. If the opportunity is there to rise up by scheduling soft, why not take it?
