Rough year in Football?

Iowa State Cyclones Football Schedule, Picks, Scores, Predictions

Looks like CFP thinks our only winable games are ND State and Army. I think this year may be a tough transitional year but the estimated spread on these games is brutal.

no way any of the experts have any idea what it's going to be this year. Entirely new system after coming off a terrible record and they're always gonna pick a terrible season. Not enough time to look seriously and in depth at the bottom team in a league and figure out the effects of a new offense and defense coming in. They're more clueless than the ISU fans are, but they allow objectivity and indifference get in the way instead of knowledge and hope.

What else would they do? I mean, this is our 3rd head coach in 3 years, right? During that time, how many games have we won? Won 2 last year, new head coach, new systems. He's probably about right.

Until we prove differently, this is what we'll get.

I agree we haven't really proven otherwise, but a +12 against Kent State (even if its a road game) and the Buffs?

I dunno, I'm pretty sure that's worse than even a worst-case scenario--kind of the Anti-KoolAid.

I do not feel most fans are upset or surprised with the predictions, rather they feel they will be proven to be incorrect.

As much as I would like to prove them wrong, our past several seasons havn't exactly been great. However, as with most ISU fans, I am hopeful that this year will be the year.

They already have the ISU - uofi game wrong (+27). The Vegas spread is 10 points and the underdog has covered the spread in the last 10 out of 11 games.

Who would pick ISU to do well? The last 3 years have been anything but good.

as long as isu wins at least 2 non conference games and one conference game Ill be satisfied!!!!

Now if the great jamie cant even get his coach to this level the first year...then I'll be disappointed!!!

Does anyone know how many season tickets have been sold so far??
