Topeka Sports talk
Their sports talk station did a little bit about the upcoming season and their predictions. The south is OK...
1. OU
2. Texas
3. OSU
4. TTU
5. Baylor
6. A&M
But the north? Man, this was homer time...
1. KU
2. kNU
3. KSU
4. CU
5. MU
6. ISU

Re: Topeka Sports talk
They must have some pretty dark purple shaded glasses on. I havent seen KSU anywhere higher than 5th in the North.

Re: Topeka Sports talk
wow....impressive. I'm sure MU would have something to say about that.

Re: Topeka Sports talk
Let's see if this plays out again this year. OU or Texas will win the south and be ranked in the top 5 all year. MU or NU will win the north and play in the Big 12 championship and get smoked. Then we will all be excited for OU to play in the NC game but they will get smoked again. Too bad for Bradfords sake.
That's why I will pull for Texas and McCoy hoping they can carry the water a little better for the Big 12 this year. I will also be pulling for the north teams to sweep their bowl games like they did last year.

Re: Topeka Sports talk
I don't think its debatable that ISU doesnt have a player near the ability of Brandon Banks(WR) or Brandon Harold(DE)....The kind of guys that the Big 12 recognizes as a star player. I do feel ISU is stronger as a team though. Both defenses will be very suspect, but I don't see why our offense won't be better.
Ive yet nto see any projection with ISU 5th and KSU 6th. I fully expect us to finish ahead of them.

MU's recent sucess might be a "bubble".

I ate there at like 11pm on a Saturday night a couple winters ago, and, while I'm betting they are KU dropouts, they are a gorgeous crop.

Are u serious? I live in Topeka, and only been to Hooters twice. I don't think the waitress are that hot. My co-workers girlfriends works there, but she is 8 out of 10. I guess I need to stop by there tomorrow for lunch
