Anybody have an idea of when this game will start? this mite have been discussed before but im to lazy to dig through old threads. I jst found out that i will be in Kansas City that weekend and will be busy for most of the day but the evening im free. so im hopin for a night game. thanks

the only thing we know for sure is that the chiefs have a home game on sunday. i would assume an early start for as much turn around time as possible.

I'm not at all sure how the TV deal works, so feel free to correct me on the following:

There are 5 Big 12 games that day: A&M @ Ark., KSU v. ISU, OU @ Miami, Kent St. @ Baylor (set at 6pm), and New Mexico @ TT (set at 6pm).

I believe the A&M and OU games fall under the TV jurisdiction of the SEC and ACC, respectively. Among the ISU/KSU, TT, and Baylor game, ISU/KSU is probably the top game, and would get the best timeslot, presumably a 7pm start on ESPN/ESPN2 or possibly FSN. However, OU@Miami is almost a lock to be a 8pmET start on ABC/ESPN, so our game may not go up against that, pointing to perhaps a more likely 3pm start.

The 7pm start, actually, would be okay with the Chiefs, I presume. The big KU-MU game a couple years ago when they were #1 and #2 in the country was a 7pm start against a Chiefs noon game the next day.

So basically I don't know a whole lot more than anyone else.
