Re: Our Disappearing Class of 2007
Disappearing recruiting classes is nothing new for ISU football. McCarney had more than a couple during his tenure in Ames. It is very difficult to keep recruiting classes intact when you are not winning. Also, ISU is a school that must take risks in recruiting and sometimes those risks just don't pay off. I like what Rhoads said about recruiting not being about the guys you don't get its about the guys you get, and if they don't pan out you are in trouble. Rhoads "gets it" when it comes to the challenges of recruiting to ISU. I am very confident that we will see success during his tenure in Ames.
