Anyone else seen the promo for NCAA 2010 on ESPN? We're the first team they show! Just click on one of the videos on the front page and it's the advertisement that runs. -
Re: ISU on NCAA 2010 Promo
That's pretty cool. I wonder why ISU is getting all of this NCAA 2010 love?

Like we're gonna pull a 2007 KU? I'd be down with that.

If I remember correctly, one or two ISU grads work for EA.

Re: ISU on NCAA 2010 Promo
Did it occur to any of you that the team ISU is playing might be the reason they are being "featured"? I highly doubt one of the least popular/respected teams in the nation would be an attractive marketing tool for any company.
You are correct that a couple of ISU alumni work for EA. They purposely f-up something on Iowa's uniforms every year. This year it was the facemasks. It's sad that ISU fans have such a compulsive obsession with hating on the Hawks to the point that they can't even do their jobs right, all it does is take the focus on your own team.
At least EA gave ISU a C+ rating and Iowa a solid B, though you can thank your ISU alumn for overrating your entire HB squad. There is NO WAY any of those guys deserve more than a 80 rating.

Who's got the OCD? Being on a rivals forum to rag on them about something as stupid as a video game?
Oh, and I bet it was those darn Tennessee alums who miscolored Florida's road jerseys
You're right though, ISU Alums conspire worldwide to bring down the almighty Hawkeyes. Better cinch down the tinfoil. Get a life buddy

Angry much? I think you're going a little overboard. A Cyclone fan was happy to see ISU in the promo for NCAA 2010. You'd be happy if Iowa was in it. I think the anger over a facemask is a buit much. I'm sure there are "f-ups" with more than Iowa. Let's just remember, it's a video game.

Yes, I did just find a way to bring HB into a football thread...

If that were the reason, why wouldn't it be TWO "high profile" teams that they use instead of just one. Wouldn't that be twice the attractive marketing tool? Wow, think about what you post before you post it please
