    Six Weeks Away

Kickoff is now just 6 weeks away. Might as well make this a weekly countdown. Last weeks topic was food and time getting to the lots. This week lets make the topic "what will you be drinking and if you have any favorite drink concoctions you want to share". Trolls stay away, this is about ISU's first game!

Just some bud light, and that's all I need.

Apple pie for breakfast and during class. Just looks too conveniently like apple juice.

My second child is due Sept 1st. Our anniversary is on Sept. 3rd. I'm an idiot.

You didn't read the handbook that stresses marriages are highly discouraged from late August until the Super Bowl? What you do after that is your own business, i.e. children.

My buddy is the same way -- a cooler full of bud light and he's a happy camper.

Me? I prefer one of five things: Sam Adams, St. Pauli Girl, Tanqueray (or any kind of gin) and tonic, Bloody Mary's or margaritas.

Actually, what the heck! Since I'm taking Friday off as well I'm starting with the Sam, switch to St. Pauli Girl, have a TNT with my meal, followed by the margaritas for dessert and toast the "lopsided" ISU victory with Bloody Mary's.

    Re: Six Weeks Away

I think for Thursday's game (and possibly others) we will be making a nice large batch of Strip and Go Nakeds. We'll of course have a cooler full of beer as well though.

If anybody wants the recipe for strip and go nakeds let me know.

Isn't it pretty simple -- Pull shirt over head and drop trou?

Couldn't resist. Seriously, please PM me your strip and go nakeds recipe.

Oh wow. That takes me back to sophomore year of college (the drink, not the act).

I really hate being a responsible adult with two kids living in enemy territory. I can only get back for two games, tops, this year.

This will be my first ISU game ever. I am looking forward to bumming drinks off of ISU fans so bring some extras. On a side note, (seriously not to derail the thread) I have it on good authority that St. Pauli Girl is KF's favorite beer. One of mine as well. Delish!

Believe it or not I just found out about strip and go nakeds this summer (about a month ago). I can't believe I've gone through high school, college, and part of my adult life and didn't know about this drink. It's simple, delicious, and can get you into trouble since it goes down so easy.

    Re: Six Weeks Away

Miller Lite is all I require. Although after a game or two of beer pong the brand of beer becomes less important.
