You could make a better argument that this team should have and most definitely could have won 6 games. I don't mean to raise expectations to unreasonable heights but last years team was better than 2 wins and I think most everyone know's we'll have a better team this year with the additions of talent and coaching staff.

Ahhh...tailgating, especially in the student lots. No better way to acclimate the young one than by six hours of outside drinking with grass underfoot. Baptisim by fire, that's what I say, 87.

I had a friend with something like that once. I'm not sure if that itch really ever goes away. When one season ends I'm itching for the next. I guess I'm just itching my life away. Oh by the way they don’t make a cream or powder for your itch. Just a single whistle.

Lambardi won a superbowl with a team that just a or 2 earlier absolutely stunk. Pre-free agency so the only addition was a few non-impact players. Not saying I expect us to win the north or the whole thing, but the impact of confident, focused & knowledgable coach can be huge.

Oh, there are many differences between a 2 win team and this team. Just ask Money and any other newcomers that get playing time this year along with the fact that this team will have experience. If your insinuation is that coaching can not make a serious difference also, it only proves how credible your opinion is in the first place.

I'm under the impression the guys are ****** that they only won 2 last year - they realize they were capable of so much more than that.

So does that mean players can't improve from one year to the next? Especially with all our returning experience, a new attitude, a few key newcomers. And a coaching staff that actually cares and wants to be here.

H*ll, I guess I've got it. I'm sitting here watching a replay of the 2004 Independence Bowl. Can't wait to taste that first cold beverage on game day!

There is NOTHING like the anticipation of football season.

One could say it rivals the actual start
