Anyone traveling to Kent St?
Anyone been there to a game...experience?
Tailgating...good/bad?
Stadium...good/bad? Access?
Ticket prices...if not going through ISU?
Seems like good a time as any to win one on the road, history has shown we are not good in these games. Northern Ill, Toledo...struggled at Ohio a few years back.
Tough spot nonetheless.

History has also shown that if I show up for a road game we're garunteed to lose, so I wouldn't count on a Kent State win Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy -

Re: Anyone traveling to Kent St?
I haven't been to a game at their stadium, but I live in the area so I've seen it and know people who went to Kent St. They're not very passionate about football, most of the kids that go there would consider themselves Buckeye fans like everyone else in Ohio. I've heard the students usually show up late and leave early b/c they're usually losing late in the game.
Seeing as I live half an hour away, I'll be there to watch us hopefully break this lame road losing streak. I don't know if people tailgate there, but they do have big parking lots around the stadium. I plan on tailgating if possible or just going to the bars in downtown Kent, they've got some good places to party.

Re: Anyone traveling to Kent St?
Ive looked into going, but the drive is pretty long.
But with the season to come, it might be nice to catch as many winnable games as possible.

Re: Anyone traveling to Kent St?
In Phil Steele's guide they break down game by game attendance for every team. They had a game that was somewhere in the 2200 announced attendance area. I also read earlier that they have NEVER sold out a game. Ever.

Re: Anyone traveling to Kent St?
I've got a conference the next day in Indianapolis, but I don't think I can go a season without catching at least one game. Hopefully I'll be bringing a couple friends along, otherwise you might have to sit next to me!

I live in between Cincinnati and Indianapolis... it's about 5 hour drive... I might have to make it.
