Worst College Uniform Blunders

I don’t like making fun of ourselves but I see this like making fun of old family photos. If this isn’t number one I’d like to see what was. Cardinal and gold helmets during the same game..priceless.

I think this was a Jim Criner idea. Players who did something extraordinary wore the gold helmets.

But I think even Iowa fans will admit this is nothing compared to the "feather" uniforms they wore one year which were designed by a couple of players.

I'd say those are the worst. Man those McDonald's colors were horrid. How anyone could have liked those is beyond me. O and as a bonus, Nike made them about as high quality as high school teams.

I hated those things with a passion. It reminded me of how a 4 year old would coordinate his colors. Terrible.

The gold helmets were what all the team members wore, they players with red were supposedly all conference or a captain.
