Re: Marquis Hamilton, a man amongst boys
This is good to hear. I hope he has a real big year.

Re: Marquis Hamilton, a man amongst boys
After having a good, if not great sophmore season I expected him to keep improving in his junior year. I don't know if it was the coaching staff or him having a bad rep, but he did very little last year. I've always been impressed with him and hope he thrives in the new offense.

Hamilton is darn good and he should have had more playing time and he should have seen the ball come his way more often when he got in there. He was very productive with whatever opportunities he had last year. I think he has a big year too. I hope they use him to block/cut off linebackers in pursuit of A-Rob. I guess you call it a pick block? I imagine if will not be fun for opposing linebackers to get blindsided by Hamilton.

Ive heard nothing but positives about him too! Prototype size and good determination. I like our options at WR! -

WR's wanna deliver the blows sometimes too I guess -
Re: Marquis Hamilton, a man amongst boys
Yeah, we discussed this at the scrimmage, too. From all accounts Marquis is a good person, and it seems odd that he would cross hairs with the last coach. He's got great hands and a big body. I definitely believe that he could play professionally when he's done. I could see him playing at TE, if he can master the art of blocking...

Yeah, I suppose that the fact that, early in the season, it was easy to see that he had put on some weight, and couldn't move or well had nothing to do with it.
At least he worked his way into better shape as the season progressed, and apparently that won't be an issue this year.
We got a new Marshall here in town, and his name's Paul Rhoads, and the times, they is a'changin'.

Re: Marquis Hamilton, a man amongst boys
Hamilton really does have some great hands. I've seen him make some fantastic catches. I've always thought he was underrated. Once our WR corps really learn the new system and get the chemistry clicking......oh man! Watch out Nebraska! -

I am sure I am missing guys, but none of those guys were Chizik recruits and they started.
This myth that Chizik played his guys is put to an when you look at the facts
