What sound gets you PUMPED up?

There is so much that goes into the great college football atmosphere at Iowa State and Jack Trice stadium. I was just wondering about the auditory aspect of it. Everyone has that one thing (or several) that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. You hear it and you can help but get pumped and that cardinal and gold blood coercing through your veins starts to circulate. If you don't know what I am talking about you are either A) Not a Cyclone fan, B) Dead. In which case there is no reason to keep reading, you dead people scare me.

I was just wondering what sound(s) at JTS get you just excited as you possibly can be and make you wanna start jumping around and screaming at the top of your lungs. I've seen 80 year old Cyclone fans doing that next to me at the right moment. What one(s) get you in that zone? and why (if you know?)

the crowd all standing and chanting "OHHHH" right before the first kickoff of the season. Is there anything better?

90 minutes before kickoff.
West upper walkway outside Hilton Coliseum.
ISUCF'V'MB, in concert arcs, hits the final chord of their warmup progression -- at FFFF.
The initial face-melting sound, and then the reverb off of Hilton.

What time is it? Game time.

i heard once that the key jingling was borrowed from Iowa, and that the 'another cyclone first down' was borrowed from the Goofs? Say it ain't so Jamie! :) (he wanted a jump theme at ISU ala Wisconsin)

for me, it's the first note of fanfare, gives me chills every time for the past 3 years (and considering how many times i've played it, that's saying something)

It seems like every stadium does "good for another ______ first down!"

The guy in our section stole the K... S.... U..... Wildcats cheer, but it's still fun.

Being creative isn't as important as just having fun with things.

Also, Sweet Caroline has a strange way of pumping me up outside of game day, but not during the game. Strange...
