Kansas City Star - Position Rankings
Link ===> Big 12 football team ratings by position - Kansas City Star
Hard to argue any of them except for the receivers seems a little low than what I would have expected.

Re: Kansas City Star - Position Rankings
The receivers ranking does seem a little low. Do we really have the third best special teams in the Big 12? Did everyone else graduate?

And we were top 15 in kickoff return yards last season (although not real hard to do when we get kicked to 8 times a game)

Re: Kansas City Star - Position Rankings
Pretty fair across the board. I would rank WRs higher, but I think if anything, it highlights the quality of this league's passing attacks.

I agree though, talent wise, our secondary is better than that. Hopefully we can show it on game days

My personal opinion is that ARob is a little low, but he really hasn't put up the stats to support it yet.

Yeah, I know the old standard reply - "ISU has won just two conference games in the last two years. That's why."
Still...

darrel scott wasn't even the best running back on his team, that short 5 ft 7 guy was better

Those actually were not as bad as I thought they would be.

Re: Kansas City Star - Position Rankings
The DMR covers the Cyclones as an after thought and that will never change. I think the reason we are still picked to finish last is that not one of our areas is high enough to make up for the lower areas. Plus our track record on the road does not help at all.
