Where is everyone going to party

on Friday night before the Kansas State game down in K.C. I used to love to go to Kelly's. However that area sucks now. I heard the new district is the place to be. Anyone know what bars in that district us Cyclone fans can take over the night before the game. Let's get something going.

If any of you are interested in cigar bars, there is a place called the Cigar Box on 15th and Grand that I've always found to be a good time when I've been down there. If I remember right, that's right across from the KC Star building.

Power & Light District

Kelly's always love kelly's packed with iowa staters. The Power and light what is the new area and it is downtown.

I agree totally. My group will be somewhere at the Power and Light district.

Personally, I'd eat at the Plaza at Jack Stack (youll have to wait an hour)
Head over to P&L district, stop by Gordon Biersch
Then head over to Kelly's

Possibly Kelly's but as mentioned, the Westport area has really gone downhill. We will probably try out the Power & Light since I've heard its a great atmosphere.

There are really only 2 or 3 must see places in KC.

Arthur Bryants, Oklahoma Joes, and the Boulevard Brewery.

I LOVE bbq but I tend to think Arthur is a little greasy/not as great as advertised. It's good but not tops in my book.

gotta few questions on KC,
what is the tailgating situation like? isnt the stadium downtownish?
what is security like i have student tickets but am not a student i have an old ID and i have used it to get into the games for years think it will work in KC?
