I hope I win... otherwise I have some explaining to do when the wife sees the credit card statement. Dont get me wrong its a good bet but these NDSU fans wanted 2/1 odds and 21 points.......man they are feeling good about the team -

I know you NDSU fans are proud of your team and like your chances of picking on a BCS program that is a traditional cellar dweller in football, but honestly how deep is your team?

I heard that the SDSU vs NDSU game last year was a joke.
At least it was witnessed by all of 18,000 fans.
SDSU was terrible and went to NDSU and smacked them on their home field.

Dean Wormer was wrong. Fat, drunk and stupid was a great way to go through college (all five years of it). -
Re: I made a bet today...
I looked over the football board over at NDSU fan site. Looks like they are going to be counting on some JUCO recievers who apparently did not show up for summer workouts but did show up for practice. I still expect AA and crew to move the ball effectively. Also noted that according to their fans, their linebackers and D line are relatively unknown. Sounds like tight ends and RB's may have a good day. I believe, PR will run out of the spread if it yields good results, and if secondary has to worry about 5 wide recievers, each as good as their best reciever, the run game for ISU may see alot of success. I would love for ISU to rush for 200 yards out of the spread against an inexperienced defensive front, and throw enough to keep the secondary honest. Then ISU will not have to show our offense for the week 2 opponent.

three 21pt+ wins in the past 6 years. 3 21+ point wins in 22 at bats. not good odds. i think you lose. seems every year everybody gets amped and starts predicting 48 point victories over our opponents, then we have a 6 point win over a 1aa opponent, or worse yet a loss to one.
lets face it, we were awful last year and it will take some time for the new schemes to sink in and run fluidly. i expect a win but not by much For what it is worth, you could also look at those numbers and say there is a 50% chance a season will have a 21 point W. Furthermore, in those seasons it is 66% likely that the W will be against a FCS team. Not as bad as you portrayed. Also, it is interesting that there were two 20 point W's.
