Mostly optimistic. It's worth watching just for the interviews with Rhoads, Austen and Frere.
It's been on several times. Their format for all these previews is:
*Segment on featured team with interviews from Big 12 media day
*Segment on other division teams
*Segment of alleged "experts" talking about featured team
Didn't get a chance to watch it. Anything interesting?
Not really... Your typical hype up any team by talking about the changes and hopes of the team. Then preview opponents, then expert talk. No criticizing of teams, no real digging into anything.
Just your typical (we don't want to offend anyone) preview show, with no real opinion.
It was fine until the "experts" started to talk. When you keep calling a certain someone "Arnude" I tend to think you know nothing about the team other than what you read in the media guide.
You've got that right cycloneroyce. I am a former play-by-play guy myself (until my wife told me to go out and get a 'real' job) and do a lot of PA work for various sports and one thing I do without fail is double check all pronunciations. It amazes me that some of these morons are making the kind of money they are and won't take the time to do a little home work.Quote:
