Seriously! The Marching band is an integral part of college football. They should never have changed the entrance. Ever.

Just as long as they don't run down into the goal post, I'm ok.

Maybe they could coat the ramp down to the field with something....it was a huge rush for the student section to start going ape **** while the team was hidden from the rest of the stadium....

The helmet was gone two years ago. Last year was just the tunnel.

That would be best. Nothing represents the tradition of the school like the band playing Fanfare, ISU Fights, For I For S, Go Cyclones Go, Rise Sons... Basically let play music on the PA around the band. The 90's are over and so are Jock Jams.

Dude, that is hilarious. The mascot itself is funny...a skinny white kid in a FB uni with a HUGE wildcat head? And then him fake playing guitar? I guess if they played it on the scoreboard, that would give the fans something to laugh at. I'm glad that ISU isn't THAT cheesy.

They have '3-a-day Dairy Trivia' on the video boards at basketball games. Can't get much cheesier than that!!

I know the idea has been brought up before, but I always thought building a replica of the Clyde Williams Field gates and having the team go through those would be really cool. A lot of tradition built in right away.

Why do they even have to go in the locker room? Why can't they just get in a big group on the field and drink juice boxes and eat oranges while CPR goes over the game plan on a little chalk board? That is traditional. :jimlad:

How about we quit worrying about crap that doesn't matter and worry more about winning games. To be honest... I wouldn't care if they played their home games across the street on the practice fields if they win games. Winning will make everything better.

I've been thinking we could start a new cheer:

I-State.....
Dominates!
I-State.....
Dominates!

Harder to chant would be:

This is domination by the Cyclone Nation, or
Cyclone Nation domination.

You get the idea.
