Love the here the fight song after a score, but just doesn't do anything for me as the team takes the field -
Re: Entrance to the field
Don't we come out for the second half to Enter Sandman though?

Re: Entrance to the field
I say do nothing..... no music..no nothing.... let the players show it on the field...and then let them leave....in silence LEt the fans make the noise
I think that would be the Gladiators of the old... go in take care of business and leave....

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good. Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better. Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step. I know at times people on the other side of the stadium weren't crazy, but we could easily put them on the big screen like they do now. I remember as a student NOTHING got me more pumped than when that big mob red came around the corner and started coming down the side then just exploded onto the field (of course we were winning more games then so there was more to be excited about) -

I doubt Coach Rhoads would like to put himself in the spotlight like that, but it would be a heck of a tradition that would get tons of national publicity. Plus, it would give me serious goose bumps. this would be the last straw of lame gimmicks for me as a cyclone fan.

Re: Entrance to the field
I remember last year the talk about having Slipnot with the song that has the siren at the start. Have them do a special ISU song. That would be awesome!

I would like to see less of the Alumni director and the dumb cheers. Just my opinion, but it's tired and needs to go. Plus it drags on wayyyyyyyy too long.

Re: Entrance to the field
Forget the idea of a motorcycle for the football game entrance... why not use it for basketball. I remember watching this on TV and getting chills. Yes it is lame, but what can i say...

CPR also took plane flying lessons, why doesnt he just jump out of a plane carrying a cyclone flag and throw it into the ground like Chief Osceola does a flaming spear for FSU?!?

The coach will be leading them this year.

How about we quit worrying about crap that doesn't matter and worry more about winning games. To be honest... I wouldn't care if they played their home games across the street on the practice fields if they win games. Winning will make everything better. All the worrying in the world by those who don't wear the uniforms will not make a bit of difference when it comes to actually winning games. If you want to worry about that, be my guest.
