Entrance to the field

It's well documented how much Coach Rhoads loves to ride his Harley. I just suggested to Randy Petersen on the DM Register live chat that they crank up the volume on the stadium speakers and play Steppenwolf's 'Born To Be Wild' while coach rides his Harley through a cloud of smoke as he leads the team on the field.

I doubt Coach Rhoads would like to put himself in the spotlight like that, but it would be a heck of a tradition that would get tons of national publicity. Plus, it would give me serious goose bumps.

Put yourself as a visitor at a location that had their head coach do this. I don't know about you, but the first thought in my head would be, "What a ******!"

sounds interesting.... i liked how LJ carried the sledgehammer onto the field last year.... i think it would be cool to enhance that somehow.... I know florida state has the seminole throw the spear at the 50 yard line every game and i think it would be sweet to start something with the hammer.... since CPR wants to hit em comin off the bus

Just don't have him go through a tunnel first that once he clears the smoke it directs him right at the goal post so he runs into it.

Please, lets just take the field in a cool, classy manner. I support none of the flash and dazzle. This isn't the WWE. I always liked the McCarney days of just walking onto the field.

I think this would have been a great idea for when he was introduced to the fans, had they done that for him like they did for Chizik. Not a good idea for ta game. He has one thing on his mind that night and that is kicking the Bison all over the field.

cool can also be boring.... and i disagree because the wwe always uses fireworks and stuff like that.... all people want is something unique that only our school does and something that can be fun
