If any of those games were actually close at half (or midway through that 3rd quarter since we're either watching on TV or listening on the radio in the lots), I would come back to my seat.
I'm glad that other people stay to watch the band and are there when the team takes the field for the second half, but I'm not going to be one of them. Other than that, I do my part...NCC, CGC, ISUAA. But the second half of games recently have not been very enjoyable. Our tailgates have been way more enjoyable than watching ISU get beaten down and give up.

Re: Halftime exit and re-entry
I say we just charge to get back in, $35 re-entry fees ($45 after halftime) .

I wonder what the reason is for that.

Too many people entering the gates before the game.

Well, I hope we are winning or close in every home game this year (except maybe Okie State) so you can stay in your seats. My goal is that the games get way more fun and just kill your tailgate experience! -

Re: Halftime exit and re-entry
I love leaving the stadium at halftime and I never miss a play before of after the half. It drives me nuts when people really dont care to get back in the stadium during a close game.

Now...call me a party pooper/fun hater if you must. Maybe you should become a Minnesota fan. They seem to enjoy those policies.

Used to leave every game... too lazy now.

Re: Halftime exit and re-entry

Last year I don't think I saw the second half of any home game after KU. So why enter the stadium at all? Why not just buy the tickets and make your donation but stay home or stay in the tailgate lots the entire time. After all, they already have your money.
