Wouldnt get to giddy unless we can get a visit from him. He's got some big names after him, but weve got the PT.

Doesn't sound to promising. Tuff competition. To many good teams on that list.

So what? Most kids would rather rot on the bench at a big name school. See: Matt Cassel.

We could essentially offer him an immediate starting position in the Big 12. That might be appealing to some.

I really think that if we have some success, we have the inside track on guys like this. We can offer him a fantastic shot at a starting spot right away and with JUCO guys that is huge because they don't have time. I really think it would be hard for a JUCO guy to turn down a starting spot when they only have 2 years to play D1 ball. Matt Cassel is comparable because I believe he went to USC right out of high school and he probably though he would have a great opportunity to start there sometime within 4 years.

Because I am impatient, I sometimes post before I read things and after reading a couple things, some things popped into my head. Number 1: We don't seem to be ahead in the running but some success and a bowl game could really boost us. Number 2: I think some of his comments are very well worded and he sounds intelligent. I would be interested in knowing why he went to a JUCO college as it says he signed with Va Tech. I guess I would like to know if he didn't have the grades and if he didn't was it a lack of effort? Maybe something happened with Va Tech that they decided they didn't want him then? Just kind of curious.

Is ISU in on him because of ties with CPR? I love the fact ISU is in on a guy like this. I would love to see a couple of highly rated DT's come in too!
