Big 12 QB's
I don't think we've had a good quaterback discussion in a while. 1/2
How would you rank the returning Big 12 QB's? And I am talking about their skill level, not their value to their respective teams.
Here's how I'd rank em'.
1. Colt McCoy - Texas
2. Sam Bradford - OU
3. Todd Reesing - KU
4. Zac Robinson - OSU
5. Robert Griffin - Baylor
6. Austen Arnaud - ISU
7. Jerrod Johnson - TAMU
8. Cody Hawkins - CU
NU, TTU, MU, and KSU all graduated their quaterbacks.
Thoughts? Will the Heisman winner be whoever ends up being number one on this list at the end of the year?

Re: Big 12 QB's
Bradford>McCoy>Robinson>Reesing>Arnaud>Griffin>Johnson>Hawkins
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Re: Big 12 QB's
Colt has a better chance than Bradford. It will be hard to beat Tebow, I mean just spend 20 minutes with the guy... Thom Brennaman's Disturbing Mancrush On Tim Tebow Video -

Oh wait, I forgot about Ricky "Tom Brady" Stanzi. He will win the Heisman, everyone else is competing for 2nd place. Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good. Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better. Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step. My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all. -
Re: Big 12 QB's
texas tech will throw a very decent qb into the pool-do not underestimate taylor potts who will be taking over for graham harrell
at tech. you know darn well that leach will put a very good qb on the field.

Re: Big 12 QB's
I wouldn't be surprised if Robinson is talked about for heisman. They weren't far away last year and their offense should be better this year.

He thought he was covered by the thread title. Come on Monty, you know Big 10 fans turn to the Big 12 to discuss real football.

Pot meet kettle. And you truly can't go one day without posting something on a Cyclone message board. Seriously, if it upsets you, don't visit the site.

Wow, I can't believe you clowned me like that. Normally, I wouldn't know if I would be able to recover, but then I remembered I don't even average 1 post a day here. I've been on here for about 9 months (270 days) and average .77 posts per day, I'll let you do the math. (Hint: .23 * 270 = how many days I haven't posted)
I am just trying to figure out the hypocrisy of the whole deal. Here's the enstranged vicious circle that goes on.
Cyclone fan brings Iowa up in something totally unrelated (such as this thread)
Iowa fans open the thread expecting to just read or possibly contribute (without the mention of Iowa)
Iowa fans join in on the now Iowa-oriented conversation
Cyclone fans get mad that Iowa fans are talking about Iowa stuff when the thread wasn't supposed to be about Iowa
Rinse and repeat.
99% of the time I like to have a respectful, in-depth conversation about football, and will inquire something if I don't know. A lot of the ******* matches that go on are when people like Monty get ahold of the thread for the sole purpose of taking the same weak pot shots at Iowa in mostly civil threads.
I've already explained 101 times why I come here, and that reason is yet to be challenged by a Clone fan so I take it that it's a good enough reason.
