And you have obviously never played sports if you don't think running through a tunnel with 50,000 fans cheering for you pumps you up 10X more than when 25,000 fans are cheering for you

You've posted 3 times in the last 4 posts, saying how you'll do what you want, youre your own boss, and that it is your belief that certain fans should go cheer for Nebraska. Now you would actually have to be "better than these fans" to be able to tell them what to do right? So you're a Husker fan now I take it?
My feelings are that for when the team runs out onto the field, this is the last time that most of them will actually look into the crowd as their attention immediately shifts to the game. This is also when there is probably the most excitement in the entire stadium (except for the final seconds of a win, or a big play). IMO, a full stadium is the best stadium when the players come in.

Re: Looks like they want us at the Jack early for the first game.
I just like to think that I am doing my part to get ISU football to be a big time atmosphere event like it should be. Obviously me getting to my seat early doesn't make a difference, but I can only control what I do. People should want the experience to be great, for the fans and the players, rather than the blah experience it tends to be when the stands are only half full when the team comes out.

Re: Looks like they want us at the Jack early for the first game.
I go to the games to see the game and remember it .. I am unsure why anyone buys tickets to never remember a play ,but no worries for me... But I agree we do need to be in stadium by players entering ,and you leaving 5mins early (If you can) wont kill anyone...We cant have it both ways those of you who go on about how your paying and such ,are you the same people I read on here complaining how everyone in nation talks ISU football down???? Well the big time programs are full most all the time....Dont give me you will change when program changes cause if you dont care now You wont then . It is a circle ...I know that but I really believe atmoshere helps ... still remember arrowhead stadium and that was amazing !!!! If your a cyclone ,YOU have my love ,but the players would love to see your love too...just saying -

Once I heard JJ start yelling crap I knew that it time to start heading in. I always get to my seat or am walking to my seat at kickoff so I dont miss anything. No extra time needed sitting and waiting...more time having fun with friends/family I dont see that often.

If that is what they are worrited about I can understand the results the past 3 years.
If I was a collegiate football player getting a free college education I wouldn't care if the stadium was completely empty. I would play for pride, and for a love of the game. I wouldn't play for anyother reason then that.

You don't need a ticket to do that. You could sit outside all day.

The point I am making is that a team full of players that are more worried about how many fans are in the stands and not about what they have to do on the field that day pretty much explains the results. Here is to hoping that we have some players on this years team that walk into JTS and are only thinking about one thing and that should be tearing the opposition limb from limb.

Who's saying they're worried about it? Do you read much? But to say they wouldn't notice a difference between 10k fans and 40k fans in the seats is laughable.

One thing we can do though is beat the traffic. I bet we are #1 in the country in that category.
