Somebody loves us, Somebody really loves us

Some guy on 810 radio out of KC has a web site with underated/overated teams. Discussed at length why ISU could suprise this year. Likes Rhoads and coordinators, schedule, and in the end only picks us for 6-6.....but better than some of the gloom and doom out there.

It would be. If our defense could manage to get a few more stops then what they did last year it could make a huge difference. Our offense should be able to put some points on the board. We just have to stop teams from scoring at will.

We got Applebee's in Lincoln to put that game on. Seriously, the whole place was cheering for the Clones that night.

As they should. I was cheering for the Huskers last year in their bowl game especially after hearing the SEC homeboy announcers talk about how much better and outgunned the Huskers were relative to the SEC team they were playing.

    What a crock of ****.

    1) You cheered for NU?

    2) Clemson plays in the ACC, not the SEC...

That's wild, I was listening to the same thing! He was on around 3:30pm. I was so excited to not only hear some Iowa State talk on the radio in KC but to hear positive talk at that.

Guy is a sports handicapper so no wonder he likes the Clones because we are usually good against the spread especially when Iowa is ranked and comes to town.

Yeah, I was actually cheering for the cornfuskers in their bowl game too last year. I think it was all about "Big 12 pride". But afterwards I had to take a very hot shower to try to wash the guilt off of myself.....

Good find jaretec. This guy is usually pretty good. I used to listen to 810 a ton (when we could stream at work). He always seems to come with a good angle. He actually pronounced Arnaud correctly.
