ISU recruiting Creekmur ...

for football? I heard a rumor from a friend who is a hawk fan. He said ISU is working Creekmur for FB. Anyone else heard this?

Sounds pretty far-fetched.

It could be true but I HIGHLY doubt anything ever comes of it.

AFAIK he hasn't committed anywhere to play anything. But, my point was, is he good enough at QB to be recruited in the Big 12? I don't think so.

Creek committed to Santa Clara to play basketball. He decommitted from Iowa after Todd Lickliter spent more attention on retaining players like Kelly, Peterson, Palmer; rather than putting attention on his upcoming recruits. He is the type of person who likes to be the go-to guy or the best person on the team. Granted, he could have been at Iowa, but that is more because their lack of talent, rather than how much talent he possesses. Santa Clara really seems like a good fit.

I did hear about the ISU football rumor and I just shrugged it off as nothing. I watched 4-5 of his games last year and he was nowhere near where Peschong was from 06-08, and Peschong is playing D2 at Southwest Minnesota State. So in comparison, this would be an extremely bad move by Rhoads. Luckily, I believe there is little-to-no merit to this story.

He didn't play in the first game on Friday, some minor injury. I doubt he'd come here for football, but you never know.

Looking at their recruiting class, I think it was more that the recruits they got were more talented than he, but hey, what do I know.
