Non Conference Games Through 2020
I was just looking at Cyclones.com and it looks like most of our non conference games are scheduled through 2020. I am looking forward to the Navy game in 2019, and am glad we have the 3 service academies over the next 11 years. I'd like to see more games with them. Also why the hell does ISU have to play Oklahoma and Texas in back to back weeks all the time?

Kansas and ISU are the only 2 teams in the North that have them both in the same rotation and ISU will always play them both either home/home or away/away and always back to back.

At least Kansas gets to play one at home and one on the road during their rotation. ISU is the only team in the Big 12 -- North and South -- that has to play Texas and OU on the road in the same year.
Edit: Conversely, ISU is the only team in the Big 12 that is able to play them both at home in the same year. We've just never been good enough during those years to take advantage.

Re: Non Conference Games Through 2020
The good thing is after going through this is that starting in 2012 our non-conference slate is MUCH more managable for pretty much the rest of the decade.

While I agree that it is a crap deal for ISU and KU I always have to remind myself that when the B12 was formed OU was down and aTm was up. The resurgence of OU and fall of aTm is what makes this the huge kick in the nuts.

What i wonder is why its the same all the time. im fine with a 4 year rotation, but each 4 years, cant it be shaken up a bit?

It would be fun to see some variety of names on those schedules.
