I'm going to get ripped for this post.....
I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss Stanzi...He shared time last year with Jake, and has smooth natural release... Arnaud had good games last year, but it wasn't anything defenses couldn't handle. Maybe these receivers will change that....and hoping Arnaud will prove it on the field that he is the better quarterback and one that defense's need special preparation for.

Career Stats for both:
Tiller: 0 attempts, 0 completions, 0 passing yards, 0 rushing yards
Vandenburg: 0 attempts, 0 completions, 0 passing yards, 0 rushing yards
Yeah I can see how you would make that statement.

Barkley is a true freshman and can go into a system like USC AND START! I just can't say that Potts is better than Barkley...

Yeah I can see how you would make that statement. But I've seen Tiller throw it 75 yards from his knees. I'm shocked he hasn't been named starter this year yet. Coaches might be waiting for the real season to begin before naming the real QB - who really knows at this point.

Arnaud is a much better runner than Stanzi, and did not have the benefit of a Doak Walker Award, and a top 10 offensive line. As far as other defenses being unable to handle him, well, he dropped 440 on K-State, and over 300 on both Mizzou and A&M. It's not Arnaud's fault that the defense sucks as much as he's good. Last time I checked, allowing 440 yards isn't exactly handling somebody.
For the quarterback combo of a 2-10 team to be ahead of that of an 8-4 team (both in BCS conferences) is quite a compliment.

But let's put it this way - Barkley isn't starting at USC as a freshman because he's this superior talent, he's starting because he's the best option. Yeah, I know that sounds weird, but let me explain it further - Barkley's not starting because he's a Tebow-like talent, he's starting because he's a Stanzi-like talent, which just happens to be better than what else is available. If Carroll had the choice, he wouldn't be starting Barkley. But obviously, he doesn't have that choice.

But if you took Potts and put him at USC, I really don't think he would even be backup! I think he would be 3rd string at best.
