Funny Hawkeye fan comments

I was eating lunch today and was sitting with some Hawkeye fans and these were their comments:
1. Paki O'Meara is better than any running back ISU has had in the last 10 years.
2. Iowa's third string running back is better than any running back on Iowa State's roster.
3. Ricky Stanzi is much better than Arnaud and the stats don't mean anything.
4. Ricky Stanzi is just as good with or without Shonn Greene.
5. Iowa will beat Iowa State 27-3.
6. Ricky Stanzi is the best quarterback in the Big 10 and Big 12 and is just a notch below Tebow after this season.
7. Iowa will go 10-2 and win the Big 10.

I can't stand some Hawkeye fans. I was told Hawkeyes hate everything Cyclone and that Paki O'meara will be the next great running back. Something about Big Ten Champions and possible National Championship. The same stuff they say every year.

Both of those statements are about as completely absurd as the original posters Hawk "friends" claims. Paki could easily be #2 on our depth charts. Stanzi would also fight for the starting position. Stanzi is a good quarterback. I dont think he would fit in at all in our system, but he is a good quarterback. I played against Paki in high school and he had crazy break away speed. Granted this is D1 football and not high school, I think Paki will still have some surprising speed. I think that as Cyclones, we are very fortunate for the Hawks to have to running back woes that they have had. I just wish they had some defensive woes, or some offensive line woes to go along with that.
