I wanna tailgate at JTS until I die...and unless I move way outta state, I will. Go Cyclones
This is one of the biggest reasons I wish I would have stayed in Iowa - simply to enjoy fall tailgating and football games at JTS. I still get back for 1 (2 if possible) games per year, but it is just not the same.
To echo another post in this thread - I too live and breath Cyclones regardless of our past success. I get very upset and frustrated after losses - including the required ******** about why I have to be cursed with a losing team, etc. But, when all is said and done, I woudn't trade being a Clone for any other fan base. Our fan base is amazingly dedicated, considering the lack of success. I love to compare it to my other alma mater Indiana. Consider this: They did their bowling in of the endzone over the past offseason AND their tickets are significantly cheaper than ours on average, and yet they could only attract 32K+ to their home opener this year. As a Hoosier fan, this is distressing. But it also goes to show that our fan base at ISU simply cares more about our football team than a comparative BCS program with a similar success rate.
