Bad News Cedar Rapids Gamewatch
Bad news fellas...
I went in this afternoon to make sure that everything was good to go, and everything is not good to go. I logged in, brought up the site and opened up a test video. The stream is very choppy and when made full screen it gets incredibly pixelated and even more choppy. I tried a number of things, including calling Mediacom, to try and correct the issues, mostly the terrible stream and came out with nothing. Really sorry about this, I'll try to PM the people who responded on the previous thread saying that they would come so that no one is traveling distances to not watch the game.
I'm going to try again tomorrow before kickoff with a different streaming game, but chances are its not going to work. Really sorry about all of this.

Bummer. Stoopid Mediacom and ESPN 360.

I think it's more so the computer the bar uses. I would take my laptop down and hook it up but all of the wiring is behind the bar and it would be way too much work. I wish you could use your Mediacom cable box to access 360 if you have the bundled package...that would make everyones life much easier

Don't blame your computer, or mediacom. Blame the Big Twelve and their crappy media contract!!

I was mostly being facetious because our internet connection from Mediacom has been a bit spotty lately. But still. Major bummer, I was looking forward to getting there for at least part of the game.

The game is on the road. Kent State and the MAC own all rights to this game.

As someone else said, this is a MAC home game, and they have the rights to it.
Blame the crappy MAC media contract, not the Big XII.
Re: Bad News Cedar Rapids Gamewatch
Did you just try updating the resolution of the (2) monitor on your display settings? That worked for me. Mine is crystal clear with Mediacom. Up the pixel count to like 1920X1080... I almost guarantee you that works.
Re: Bad News Cedar Rapids Gamewatch
Let us know if you can get it to work, nice to be able to watch it somewhere!
Does Mahoney's serve food or is that just Paddy's?

Thank you for your help, Spock. You may head back to Romulus now.

LOL. The game feed will be uplinked From Kent State back to the ESPN360 studio. They will be using the Galaxy 17 satellite (orbital slot 91 degrees west longitude) Transponder 15 Vertical polarization. They will use the DVB-S format at 12009 Mhz Symbol Rate 13235 with Forward Error Correction 3/4. Anyone with a big old satellite dish and a digital receiver can pick this up.

I knew I shouldn't have put that 10 foot satellite dish in the garage sale last week.
