This. I had a buddy with Comcast internet in Minneapolis try to do the remote access thing with my ESPN account & he couldn't get it to work. If somebody would be willing to give it a try on Mediacom or some other 360 approved internet connection please shoot me a PM before the game.
You have to go to espn.com and log into the account first..... THEN go to espn360.com and it will work, as long as he has the remote access enabled. I tried to sign in at espn360.com and it didnt work, but if you go to the other page first it will work.

So noob question here how do you sign up for remote access? I know I can get espn360 access somewhere else but want to sign in there then sign in at my apt. This will work wont it?
Wow I cannot even find where to access remote access. Can anyone tell me where to find this? Trying to figure out ESPN 360 is really a pain... Why not just offer up a registration page for anyone to use.
The process itself doesn't sound that difficult, although I had a friend that couldn't get it to work for me earlier in the week. If somebody here is willing to enable remote access on my ESPN account before kickoff please let me know. Here's some info from a document that somebody posted earlier this week about remote access....
How does it work? ·While on the home connection, have the customer log into their ESPN.com account, then head to ESPN360.com and click on REMOTE ACCESS. Remote Access activation is available at the “Remote Access” link on the ESPN360.com main/landing page. Customers will be prompted to sync their ESPN.com account to activate the feature.

You have to be at espn360 to set up remote access I think. Then once you're set up there through an ISP that carries it, you should be golden anywhere.
Just had my mother-in-law hook me up with remote access....sweet info guys!
Any chance she'd want to do it for me?
I would seriously start driving around to apartment complexes like somebody mentioned earlier to use their wireless signals to enable remote access, but none of the major high-speed internet providers in Phoenix have ESPN360. I really want to watch this game.
