tailgating ? S1

I was given a parking pass for S1 for the Army game - anyone know if they tailgate in that lot?

We are normally grass lot dwellers - would we be the only vehicle in the lot until an hour before kickoff?

S1 is a lot designated for suite-holders. Draw your own conclusions.

Well, if you take that pass and step in your deLorean and travel back in time 10 years or so, you will find yourself smack dab in the middle of the tailgating center of the universe. S1 really did use to rock...that was before all the "rules."

Go back another decade to when it was public grass parking to the west of the stadium (where the practice field is now), for a scant $3. Now THAT was a deal.

aw, the memories - my first possession happened in that lot.

So basically what you guys are implying is to screw the pass and park in the grass lots

Whenever I walk by that lot on my way to tailgating, it always seems empty and dead. I've never been by there before kickoff, but I would guess it might be the least active lot.

Make it your own party and invite everyone over! There should be plenty of room to have some tents and etc.

Or hold a ressurection party for S1 and bring it back to life. Right now it is quiet and dead because it is hallowed ground. But it is ripe for a comeback.
