How bout this guy? Was an absolute stud coming into the league. Was a very good back in the league, then got into tons of trouble. He then went to the CFL and now is back in the league, splitting carries with Ronnie Brown and would start for a lot of teams. Gotta have a little respect for the guy.

I heard him being interviewed maybe on ESPN radio recently and he is definitely his own man. He said he's got a couple years left, and then will be going into med school. Marijuana or not, it's nice to hear that he's got a plan in place and want's to achieve a medical degree of some sorts.

That's probably the running the joke but I gotta give the man big props for changing his life around, providing for his family, and now going into med school. I was never a big fan of his and made jokes like everybody else a couple years ago but he sounds like he's turned himself around.

Just because the guy smokes pot doesn't mean he's some kind of degenerate. Anyone who thinks it's more debilitating than, say, alcohol is completely uninformed. It's great that he's looking to a life beyond football, and is aiming high. No pun intended.

RW is some sort of social misfit. The guy just wanted to do something he was good at, make a living, and live his own life.

The media went to great lengths to make a mockery of him in recent years and it really bugged me.

Social anxiety, smokes pot, and really good at football. Nothing more, nothing less.

This. Willie Nelson can get blazed and go on stage and he is loved for it. Ricky got his *** thrown around for a living and gets chastized for liting up after a game. He is not Dante Stallworth or PacMan Jones, he is a guy that liked his pot, and liked his football, and I think the media pressure made his love for the later go down and for the prior go up.

As an Eagles fan, I was livid when they passed on Ricky Williams in favor of McNabb.

5 NFC title games and 1 Super Bowl appearance later, I kinda like that McNabb guy.
