    Re: Army's 283-pound wide receiver

    But does he run a 4.3 40 like the 6'10" 300lb receiver I created NCAA '05?

I dig the half inch vertical he's showing off in the pic!

If he's such a stud, why is wee-man picking him off?

In other words, they have a tight end playing wide receiver. Interesting idea, I'm sure other coaches have thought of it. One reason I can think of for not doing it, is that somebody that big would be useful for blocking, and a guy can't block much if he's playing WR.

    Re: Army's 283-pound wide receiver

I'd be willing to bet that just about all of our d-backs can jump just as high as this dude. 6-10 plus a 10-inch vertical isn't all that impressive.

Memphis has a 6'8" true WR. This guy is just a tight end they throw touchdown passes too. I'm not worried about him.
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

He mostly blocks as a 3rd tackle, where are you fair weather fans prior to game week?

Jumping would seem silly for him considering where the ball is.

Reminds me of my 5'6" 350lb Punter who runs a 4.3.

I'm guessing he's talking about the fact that there has been a thread about this guy at least once a week for a month or so.

Have you ever heard of the triple option offense? The one where one of the primary tasks of the WRs is to block?

Also, he's not a TE playing WR, he's a LT playing WR.
