Re: Who has not been nice tailgating???
Holy Crap people take a pill...
I was a donor last year, we had our bags in the isle, but never had a problem moving them for people, and no one ever had a problem waiting a second for us to do so. I would guess the Iowa game had a bit to do with the situations that happened + booze + there are just plain ***holes out there, even at ISU.

Re: Who has not been nice tailgating???
For those of us who were in attendance when the parking lots were always empty, along with the seats, I think that is the best email I have heard. Struggling to find a parking spot before the game because our fan base is overwhelming the stadium, are you kidding me? That is awesome!
What's the next complaint you want to discuss, traffic backed up on Highway 30? Bring it on. I love it all, we have come a long way Cyclone fans.
P.S. I also enjoyed it when the university raised the parking rates in the grass fields and the masses still showed up.

He was awfully close to my vehicle when he pulled into the spot. In reality he was probably closer to my side because the people behind us had their tailgate party further into the driving lane than ours. He just simply wasn't paying attention, that's what gets my goat.

Re: Who has not been nice tailgating???
I dont have a hard time finding a spot.....then again the lot is usually empty.
-
Re: Who has not been nice tailgating???
Understand and apprecitate that. As another poster said it is about mutual courtesy, but it boils down to leaving a lane open for cars to drive through.

Re: Who has not been nice tailgating???
we are typically the first set of cars into the lot, so finding our corner spot is EASY!

not a big deal to have stuff in and around other spots or driveways (you never know if that spot is going to be used). But be READY to move it when a car is coming. And for those cars that have stuff in their way, either in the driveway or parking spot; have a little patience, and the person SHOULD be READY and willing to move their stuff.
Both are not a big deal, unless one side doesn't hold up to their end of the bargain.

Narcing them out? All the department is doing is following their policies. Courtesy is the key here.
We did not have a problem, but I watched a car try and get down and asile and those blocking had no clue and did not move when repeatedly asked, so I am guessing someone got frustrated and complained.

-keep That's pretty much it. It just boils down to common courtesy, sadly many people lack this. If your stuff is in another spot, be prepared to move it. If you're pulling in and there is stuff there, chill for a second and wait for them to move it.

If you're pulling in and there is stuff there, chill for a second and wait for them to move it. The issue comes when you have to wait 20 times for someone to move their stuff. If it was just one group that needs to move then that's one thing but it ends up taking quite a bit of time to get into a spot when you have to move, wait for the next group, move, wait for the next group. It gets frustrating.
Also, for the people who complain about "showing up late", what's the time that they need to be there? Why can't you just have a spot that you want to park in and not tailgate before the game? Just because you like to tailgate before the game doesn't mean everyone does. Just save the end spots for them.

Re: Who has not been nice tailgating???
I would rather deal with moving some stuff outta the way so someone can move through. Than have to tell 5 people to get away from my jeep so I could leave after the Iowa game, oh did I mention they wrote stuff in the dust on a black jeep along with a d_ck I might add. I'll let you guess what shirts they were wearing. I pretty much ever cured me of ever going to another Iowa sporting event of any kind.
