When you put Pick Em in the title, the first thing I thought was Ankeny Football on Cybookie. Brilliant idea. Although it would be neat, probably not going to happen.

The ranking here is very misleading. Both of these teams could easily be number one in the state. I will give Dowling the edge by three becuase of there Defensive line. Dowling 24 Ankeny 21.

As a former CIML Central foe, I hate both teams with a passion. But Dowling wins, 26-12.

Do either of these teams have any D1 recruits? It seems like they are good every year, but rarely seem to put D1 recuirts.

Ankeny has a freshman running back, last name Lanning, who will most likely be a D1 recruit unless he decides to do baseball like his older brother.

As far as the game prediction, my gut tells me Dowlilng is pretty darn good this year, but I'm an Ankeny fan so GO HAWKS! Ankeny - 31 Dowling - 28

Dowlings QB Mr. Hudson, is (or has been) scouted. I'm hoping since his dad was an asst. coach at Iowa State, he'll have some better exposure. I'm going to go with a blow-out game, giving DCHS the easy victory (with their depth)

It's a home game for Dowling and they don't have their own stadium. Sometimes they play at Valley, sometimes Urbandale, sometimes Drake stadium. That would suck I would think......
