Incase this hasn't been discussed, Arrrowhead Stadium parking lots will open 3 1/2 hours before kickoff.

Someone should tell cyclones.com then, because this PDF says it opens 5 hours before the game.

I stand corrected from previous post. Parking lady at Arrowhead told me 3.5 hours before kickoff. 5 hours it is!

Really are you sure about that? This comes from ISU and it says 5 hours.

The 3.5 hours thing is standard for Cheifs games, but maybe they changed it up for the college game. That only makes sense. Clone fans need 3.5 hours just to warm up!

No. They open at 9:00, not 10:30.

Does anyone know where they will be tailgating at the game? I've only been to Arrowhead once and don't know the layout.

I was gonna say... 3.5 hours is nothing for ISU tailgating. Most of us were tailgating that long for Kent State, and half of the people there drove a signficiant distance to do so

General admission is my guess. They normally direct you to your spot.

Don't discount they Chiefs fans they are actually a pretty good tailgaters.

Very true, the facility has a great setup for tailgating, and when you are in a city famous for its BBQ, that is a fantastic combination. But when the lots only open for 3.5 hours for a Chiefs game, that limits things a little. That said, I would guess the Chiefs have some of the best tailgating in the NFL (though I haven't seen much for comparison).
