He'd say that there's plenty of improvement to make, but he's on the way.

AA is overthrowing everything. He seems to be trying to throw every ball as hard as he can, that's not always the best thing to do. Overall, I'm very happy with how our defense has played and our passing game seems to be improving, but with our rushing attack and defense we can win games.

I think Army threw more tonight then they have all season..... and still dominated them!!! Offense has room for improvement but we're making progress :eys:
Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy -

41-51 Record in CF Mafia. The most games played and wins by any player in Cyclone Fanatic History. Yes, I'm a nerd. -

That pass to ARob was the best he has thrown all year. He just laid it in there for him. I would like to see more of that.

Re: ISU v Army - official "POST" Game Thread
Don't get me wrong, I think 3-1 is great and we have a real shot at 6 wins. But, where the heck is a passing game? I thought this was gonna be a wide open offense. It's starting to look to me like the play calling is beginning to show a hesitancy to let AA put it up. A-Rob is sensational but we've got to open up the playbook a little bit. The handoff or AA just heading upfield on 2nd and long won't cut it in a few weeks, even if we are ahead.

Someone put up some stats from Tom Herman's career, and it seems that the first year is nowhere near as exciting and prolific as the second year.

Great job by Wally today! He really has done a great job with the defense all season, we have our limitations but are much more fundamentally sound than in recent years! The defensive unit is playing real well.

It has been said many times that when Herman was coaching at Rice it initially took their team about half the first season before they began feeling "comfortable" with it and it began clicking. Just because we play at a higher level of football in the Big XII doesn't mean that they are going to grasp the offense quicker than the Rice players did, especially when it's the third different offensive system they're learning in 4 years.

Re: ISU v Army - official "POST" Game Thread
If we can establish the run game and make the defense respect our run game, the passing game will end up being easier. Just wait and see.
