What?
What is with the slow paced "spread" attack that iowa state s running? I don't recall Rice ever running that slow of an attack in recent years. The only plays that have been run were an off tackle draw, QB draw and a 3 yd slant.

Re: What?
I don't think we're exactly seeing what Coach Herman wants right now.
The campaign starts now. November 6, 2012. -

Take the wins, and let the offense develop.

Re: What?
We are a better running team than passing team at this point, so we are a spread running team. Thats ok too, as long as we win, our passing game has room for improvement but was good in the second half today.
-
Re: What?
Our team is built for a "power" spread attack. Herman knows that, and is playing to our strengths instead of forcing something we are not ready for.
I don't care what offense you are running, if you are successfully running the ball and have the lead, you do not stop running the ball. Ever.

Re: What?
We have Herman-Haters emerging after a win? Do we have to dig up the Rice stat comparison threads again?
I am still stoked that we have him as our OC.
-
Re: What?
Need the QB and stable of WRs to run a bigtime passing offense.
We really dont have either.
He's doing just fine with our personel.

+1
I actually feel this is the sign of GOOD coaching! ISU sees what their strength is and is playing to it. Based on what I have seen and heard of KSU's D-line, ISU should be able to get the running game going next week. I hope another 200 yards of rush offense.
-
Re: What?
ISU is averaging over 200 rushing yards per game and people are ******** about the OC?!?
It takes all kinds.

Re: What?
Herman is doing the best with what he has IMO.
Wally is doing a fantastic job.

Wally is doing a fantastic job. I hope he is here a while. I can't imagine him jumping around much more.

Re: What?
Wally has said in a few interviews that this is his last stop on the coaching trail. Always wanted to coach with his son, and is doing just that now, and he's not exactly getting any younger. He has done some outstanding things with his defensive unit this year--especially considering that they were projected to be horrible.

Re: What?
He's making the best of the talent he has, and taking into account the learning process of the offense too. Oh, and it's working well enough with the great help they are getting from the D.
