Hilarious that ksu fans try to come onto here and make fun of us becuase everyone knows that KSU has all the hay farmers. Cyclones are not farmers, look at our mascott it's a tornado coming to wipe out all yer hay fields before you can set them abalze. I don't even know what yer mascott is, it's like a hay farmer that put on a huge cat head.

The single biggest challenge in writing up anything about Kansas State, on any subject if I had to guess, is making the story interesting enough to keep the reader awake beyond the first few words. Sailor Ripley is a sick human being that needs to be wrapped in a burlap sack and beaten with reeds for putting this write-up on me. In any event, I thought of a few things that at least entertained me.
One of the mysteries of the great sport of college football is related to Kansas State. Not because it’s difficult to understand how they’ve ever had a winning record or because they exist in the Great Plains version of the Bermuda Triangle, but because they’re the only Trade School that the NCAA has allowed the ability to compete at the D-1 level. You don’t see ITT or University of Phoenix out there with a squad. My theory is that those “schools” simply care more about focusing on education than Kansas State does. KSU literally has a degree called a Bachelors of Science in Bakery Science & Management. Barking Carnival — Blog — 2009 Kansas State Football Preview: State of the Union | | |

I hear Camarrowhead is under renovation. I imagine some of the bathrooms may be out of service. Hopefully the KSU trainers will have plenty of towels on hand on the sideline. I hear KSU athletes have some bladder issues. Better yet maybe they could borrow Old Man Snyder's colostomy bag. When is he due back at the home?

Credits: 27,032,949 Year: 1971 Degree: Poli Sci | The Week Ahead | Iowa State fans are ready for ‘Farmaggedon’ By PETE GRATHOFF The Kansas City Star More News
Even if you’re not big on nicknames, you’ve got to like the moniker given to Saturday’s Kansas State-Iowa State football game at Arrowhead Stadium: “Farmaggedon.”
Jarod Temple, an Iowa State graduate who lives in Kansas City, is certainly excited about the Big 12 conference opener for the teams.
“I love it,” said Temple, who is with the Iowa State alumni club. “The next two years we’re playing K-State there, so it’s going to be pretty cool.”
The game kicks off at 2 p.m., and while Manhattan is closer to Kansas City than Ames, Temple expects a good Cyclone crowd.
“I would imagine if it’s anything like the past games at Arrowhead, it should be a good turnout,” he said, “and Iowa State travels well.”
Iowa State fans will have a pep rally Friday at 5 p.m. at the Power & Light District. Not to be outdone, the KC Catbackers Club is playing host to a pep rally at The Other Place in the Overland Park. That event begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are at ticketmaster.com.

A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales are being donated to Iowa hog farmers who have been devastated by the Swine Flu.
