Misc KState Game Questions

OK - So it appears Parker is probably out. It appears ARob plans to play.

(1) Did Reynolds play last week? Did he have any catches (if he played)? Is there an injury (if he did not play)?

(2) I see discussion that KState lines up their RB in a version of the "wildcat" formation. I assume the QB splits out. I need someone to explain to me why this would not be easy to defend and how these pistol/wildhog, etc are such the rage. If I saw Thomas alone in the backfield, that pretty much tells me "run play". I crash the safeties up and go man to man on the WR. Dare him to try and throw the ball.

Money played ... I remember 1 catch for sure over the middle. He's easy to pick out because he jukes and fakes like crazy after the catch... it really hasn't worked so far, but you gotta like effort

It is funny how our 'top' receivers haven't even been on the field that much. DD played a lot of snaps Saturday, but I rarely ever saw Money or SJ.

To answer the question about defensing the Wildcat, Thomas was a junior college quarterback. He is quite comfortable throwing the football. He probably would smile if he saw Brandon Banks with man coverage without any deep help from a safety.
