What does the KU game mean
In terms of Baylor homecoming game attendance on the 17th? I have full hope the tailgating crowd for ISU is just that good and will be there no matter what all year. I'm just wondering how much better that game will look with a big win over KU and back on track at 4-2 compared to 3-3 and the big 12 road losing streak still continuing and everyone going here we go again...
I know a lot of you are like me and will be there no matter. But will the fact its homecoming be enough to draw a 50K crowd at JTS for Baylor if we happen to be 3-3 (0-2)?

I think as long as the weather is good, people will be there no matter what. If we don't win some games before our November home games, I think we'll see some very small attendance figures.

Completely dependant upon weather....not what happens at KU

Re: What does the KU game mean
Given our attendance the last couple years, I'd be surprised to see less than 47-48K as long as it's dry and above 45 degrees.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection. -
Re: What does the KU game mean
Weather will determine crowds as long as we continue to compete. If our team lays down that may change but considering the fact that we have as many wins this season already as we had in any of the last 2, I would say fans will still support the team. Baylor is also a team we have a chance to beat so that will help.
I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -
Re: What does the KU game mean
If we lose, nothing we aren't expected to do anything against KU attendance won't be affected
If we win, everything - a win in Lawrence will more than make up for what happened in KC and the fans will show up whether it's 70 and sunny or 30 and a blizzard.

What does the KU game mean?
1. Another chance to check the progress of our team in their 6th game under this new coaching staff.
2. A chance for somebody to step up at RB, assuming A-Rob is out for a while.
3. When (if ever) will Arnaud return to late-2008 form?
4. This will be a very big challenge/test for our defense - the toughest of the year, so far. How will they respond?
5. How tough is Mahoney and the whole PK squad, and short is their memory? The kid has been nails since he stepped on the college field (with the exception of maybe a sloppy field in Iowa City). Will he and his crew step up and nail their first attempt with confidence?

Re: What does the KU game mean
I agree with most here that good weather will help....must be something about a warm fall afternoon. But a blowout by KU wouldn't help all that much either. Obviously pulling off an upset would be huge but a respectable loss (in this situation) wouldn't hurt either.
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience. -
Re: What does the KU game mean
It means I am going to be very annoyed all day listening to J squak fans talk about how good they are, and even more annoyed watching them "waive the wheat" while listening to the country's most annoying fight song.

Just be glad it is not basketball season so they can explain how Kansas is where basketball was invented.
